If you endure to the end of your marathon, you become a finisher. You are one of few people in this world to run a marathon. Only .05% of Americans and .01% of the entire world’s population become finishers each year. It’s an exclusive group. Those who have know the rewards. They know what it is like to cross that line. They endured the training and the actual race and finished. Once you cross that line all of f pain, challenges, early mornings, blisters, soreness, and tiredness fade away into the glory of crossing the finish line. It is 100% guaranteed you will feel a sense of amazing accomplishment and pride.
Jesus tells us if we endure to the end of our spiritual race, the end result is 100% guaranteed. We will be saved. All the challenges, struggles, and pain we’ve endured during this life will fade away as Jesus welcomes us into heaven. It will all be worth it.
You don’t have to wonder or doubt about the end result of your race. If you endure until the and follow God’s race rules you will be saved. No ands, ifs, or buts about it – you will be ushered into heaven.
So, don’t quit. Try not to stay focused on the temporary struggles and challenges you have. Instead, focus on the finish line. It is there. And Jesus is waiting there to give your reward – eternal salvation.
