Sometimes when you are running, you’ve trained and fueled so well you think you firmly can set an amazing personal record (PR). You are so excited and confident, you think can run through a wall so to speak. It’s quite an amazing feeling.
Because God is our fuel, strength, trainer, coach, cheerer, and aid station, David declares the same sentiment about God!
Because of God I believe I can run against an army and because God is my God I can leap over a wall. Now, those things may defy reality in the physical realm, but in the spiritual realm, David is extremely confident in the strength and support He gets from God. He knows that with God he can face any spiritual enemy head on and win. He knows that he can overcome any spiritual challenge and leap over it!
David is ready to run through a wall for God in modern vernacular. He has complete confidence in God and is ready to take on any challenge and feat for God.
The last several days we’ve examined various scriptures that should instill in you the same confidence toward God.
👟 With Jesus, all things are possible.
👟 God strengthens us.
👟 God turns our feet into the feet of a deer.
👟 God gives us wings like a wing.
👟 God gives us unlimited energy and endurance.
👟 God never leaves us.
God is the perfect coach and trainer. He is the perfect fuel and aid station. He is the perfect teammate and cheerer. All these things should give us utmost confidence in our ability to run our spiritual race and run through a wall for God. We should feel like David –
God because of YOU I can run against a whole army;
And because of YOU I can leap over any wall!
Why would you try to run your spiritual race without God? Only He can give you the confidence and strength you need to face down any challenge and leap over it! #runningtherace
