Run with Jesus

Running is hard especially if you go at it alone (with no support system). But if you include others in your running -whether that’s running with a friend, talking to other runners, including family or friends in updates on your training, etc. – it becomes less daunting. Suddenly, you realize you aren’t really alone even if you alone out in the trail. There are others who are supporting you and that knowledge helps you through the hard parts of the race.

Paul reminds us we always have a support system in Christ. Our spiritual run is hard. It becomes even harder when we try to go at it alone. But Paul tells us we never have to run alone. Christ is always there. He is strengthening us along our race.

👟 Jesus is at every water/aid station working to support us.
👟 Jesus IS the water/aid given us to along the run to reenergize us when we’re tired and struggling.
👟 Jesus is cheering us on at every cheer station and intersection – making sure we know we aren’t running alone.

Jesus can’t run our race for us but He has and will continue doing all that He can to help us finish our spiritual race.

And Jesus knows how hard this race is – He has run it before. He knows it’s a long hard run. And He knows how important it is to have a source of strength and aid. God did it for Jesus and now Jesus does it for us.

Don’t try to run your spiritual race alone – with no support, no aid, no cheers. It’s hard enough – why make it hard? Turn to Jesus. He had run this race before and successfully completed it. Now, He wants to help us finish ours!

Let Jesus work at all the aid stations. Let Jesus be your number #1 cheerer. Let Jesus be your fuel along the race. There is no other source of true aid along this race but Jesus. All other sources will fail or point you in the wrong direction. But with Jesus – you will be able to finish the race and finish it strong.

Run your spiritual race with Jesus. He will never lead you astray or let you down. Jesus is the only way to finish the race. #runningtherace
