You’ve got to run the marked course if you want to be qualified to win it at the end. The course is marked so you get the proper distance for your run. The aid and water stations as well as bathrooms will be marked so you know where they are. All the safety personal and directional guides will also be along the marked course. There sometimes even marked cheering zones if the race is long. If you run the race and decide you are going to run your own course, not only will you be disqualified but you also won’t get access to any of the help along the way. In other words, there’s a reason the course is marked.
It is no different with God’s race. His course is marked by His commandments.

👟 His commandments provide you aid and help along the long and hard race of this life.
👟 His commandments help you find others who are also running to cheer you on as you go.
👟 His commandments make sure you don’t get lost along the way.
David declares he will run the course of God’s commandments and in so doing God will enlarge His heart. 🏃🏻❤️
If we run the course carefully folllowing God’s commandments, God will help us to grow and He will ensure we everything we need along the race course to help us finish. All we’ve got to do is run according to the course map and not veer off to go our own way. #runningtherace
