God must love to garden and grow things. The Bible story begins with Him creating the perfect garden on earth and it ends with a glimpse into His garden in Paradise.
The Garden of Eden was destroyed by sin. The perfect of earth and the garden cursed because of mankind’s sin. And it was because of mankind’s sin that Jesus had to enter the Garden of Gethsemane. God’s love combined with Jesus’ willingly sacrificing Himself for mankind created the need for the Garden of the Empty Tomb.
And it is because of the garden of the Empty Tomb that one day we can experience God’s perfect eternal garden – the Garden of Paradise.
This garden will never be tainted or destroyed by the curse sin. It will never be touched by heart ache or sorrow. Death will never enter it. There will be only God and the Lamb. There is no need for a sun there because God’s light shines brighter than even the sun. The Tree of Life is there indicating that our time in God’s garden will be eternal. So, we will spend eternity in the presence of God. And due to His love, faithfulness, mercy, forgiveness, and perfect glory and holiness we see in Him – we will serve Him all eternity. God will give us our crowns of victory and we will reign with Him forever and ever.
There’s no mistaking it – God has always wanted us to walk in His garden with Him. He had wanted it from the beginning – it’s way He walked with Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden. Yet, sin destroyed that garden so God has worked tirelessly throughout the ages to ensure that we have an opportunity to once again walk in His garden with Him. And His eternal garden can never be destroyed. There will be only light, love, and the Lamb.
But as we’ve studied this month – God is a gardener. He doesn’t just let anything grow and flourish there nor will He let just any other gardener in.
🧑🌾 Only those who accept His will and obey His commandments.
🧑🌾 Only those who cleanse their hearts and lives.
🧑🌾 Only those who toil and work hard to serve God.
🧑🌾 Only those who sow more seeds for His kingdom.
Do you want to experience God’s Garden of Paradise? Your soul does – it longs experience perfection and return to God’s presence. It is your mind and body you will have to tame. You must give your heart, mind, body, and soul to God. Let Him become the gardener of your heart. It is the only way to enter Paradise.
Don’t miss out on the Garden of Paradise because Satan as convinced you it isn’t worth the effort. Nothing in this world is worth more than your soul’s entrance into the Garden of Paradise. Nothing. #lessonsfromthemastergardener🌺🌻🌹🌼🪻☀️
