You never put new plants in dirty pots or contaminated soil. You want your plants to have a clean home with fresh soil to facilitate good growth.

It is not different with God approaches our lives. Why is it so important for us to purge ourselves of dishonorable thoughts and actions? We are pots in God’s garden. He only wants to use the clean ones.

The only way to become a vessel for honorable thoughts and actions is to remove the dishonorable from our lives. It is the only way to become useful to God. When we remove the dishonorable things and thoughts for our lives and give our lives to God, He will help fill us back up with holy and honorable things and thoughts. We will become vessels for God. We will then be made ready to do the good works on God here on this earth.

God will never use a dishonorable or unclean vessel to house His holiness. He will never use a dishonorable worker to do His good works. If we want to become holy as God is holy and want to do the good works which God had in store for us then we must remove all the dishonorable and unclean thoughts and actions from our lives.

This is a hard task. It is a process that has to take place daily. We won’t be perfect at it which is why Jesus’ blood is continually working to cleanse us of our sins if we are always trying to obey and follow God.

God wants to use us as His vessels but He will only do so if we purge ourselves of our sinful actions and life choices to make remove for His holiness. God’s holiness cannot coexist in a sinful life. You will either remove the dishonorable things from your life to make room for God or continue to live a sinful life. You cannot do both.

🧑‍🌾 Be set apart for holiness.
🧑‍🌾 Become ready for every good work.
