When something is unwavering it remains strong and steady no matter the circumstances. It is unchanging. It does not deviate. And it does not vary. It remains the same always.
There is nothing it this life that can be truly unwavering even a parent’s love or a spouse’s love can change or deviate.
There is only one place we can turn to for to find true unwavering. God. God is the only one capable of truly being unwavering and loving unwaveringly. Paul tells us NOTHING in the physical world OR spiritual world can separate us from God’s love. Not angels, nor princes, not life, not death, not rulers, not things in the present, not things in the future…nothing can change God’s love for us – nothing can separate us from His love.
While it is impossible for us to be truly unwavering as God is, we must try to love like God loves. Our love for God must be unwavering – we cannot let it change depending on circumstances. We cannot let anything come between our love for God. Our love for others must be unwavering. We must try to not deviate in our love for others depending on circumstances. We must try to have a love that does not vary. We won’t be perfect in this because we are not God but every morning we wake up we should determine to have a love for God and others that does not change that day depending on what happens to us.
We must try to love as God loves…unwaveringly. #LearnToLove
