God’s love was so pure and perfect and steadfast David proclaimed it was more valueable than his very life! Because its value, David said his lips sang the praises of God!
God’s love motivated David. Its steadfast reliable trustworthy nature pushed and motivated David to worship God! Our love should be the same! Others should be so moved and impacted by our steadfast love they see God in us and praise Him. Our love should motivate others to learn more about God and to learn and experience then everlasting value of His love.
Our love isn’t motivational to receive our own praise. No – it should be motivational in the sense it brings others to God so they too can sing His praises!
And since today is the Lord’s Day let us too like David praise God for His invaluable love!
