To be trustworthy is to always be good, honorable, sincere so that people can rely on you.
God’s love was so precious to King David He writes that the children of Israel put their trust in God and take refuge under the shadow of His wings. It the hardest times and moments of His life David turned to God with complete assurance God would be there for him and that God would give him honest guidance, good advice, and sincere love. He never doubted God’s love. And because of God’s trustworthiness – God’s love was precious to David.
Our love for God and others should mirror God’s. Our love must be completely trusthworthy. We be reliable, sincere, and honest. We must live a life that God can depend on His light is shining their the world. We must love others in a way that they feel completely at ease trusting and depending on us. Our love should be so trustworthy it becomes precious to those we serve – both God and our fellow man. People should feel comfortable running to us for help and refuge.
God’s love was so steadfast and dependable, David and the Israelities completely trusted Him. Our love should be the same.
Learn to love…trustworthily so others come to us for help and we can point them God. #LearnToLove
