2024 is here! Since it is the start of a new year, we often take time to reflect on our lives and make goals for the future. We try to learn from the past and aspire for a better tomorrow.
One of the questions that normally comes up in our reflections is “does my life have meaning?” Or, “am I living intentionally?” Or, “what is life’s true purpose?” These are super common questions. We all sometimes struggle to find meaning in our lives. As life becomes monotonous or we feel like we aren’t “making a difference” or we say things like “life wasn’t supposed to be this way” reflecting on our life can sometimes become depressing or disappointing. So, to compensate we make big resolutions and promise extreme changes in our life. Yet, as life continues we forget, discard, or just never achieve those aspiration and we become even more disappointed or depressed.
But it doesn’t have to be that way! Your life as true deep meaning. You were created by Jehovah God. You were given a soul made in His likeness (Genesis 1). He did not create you in His image for you to live a meaningless empty life. The Apostle Paul tells us God created you FOR good works. You were intentionally made by God for good works. This month we will explore what it means to be created BY God FOR good works.
God intentionally made you so you could live a purpose drive life dedicated to good works. Your life has purpose! Stop trying to fill that void with empty worldly resolutions! You were created for more than this world has to offer. Become the person God intended you to be! Turn your life to God and let Him lead you to your true purpose. #purposedrivenlife #intentionalliving #CreatedForMore
