Today is the Lord’s Day!
We worship the Lord Jehovah because He has gifted us access to His salvation through His grace! He has saved us from our sins and given us the pathway back to Him in paradise. We’d never make in there in our own. We’d get lost in the dark. But God has provided the light – His son Jesus Christ – to guide us back to Him. And we’ve done nothing to deserve this. It is a gift! He willing gave it to us.
So, how do we get access to God’s gift of salvation? We follow His example and willing give the most precious thing -really the only thing – we own back to Him. Our souls.
Gift giving should be reciprocal. When someone gifts us something, we gift them back something. Birthdays. Holidays. Etc. We always want to return the gift giving to show our love and appreciation for their kindness. So, God gifts us salvation. In return, we gift our souls to Him.
Praise me to God for His indescribable gift!
