Today is the Lord’s Day.
Why do we worship the Lord?
Because if we obey His commandments and work hard not to sin, He has promised He will protect us from Satan and since God is the one protecting us – Satan will never be able to touch us.
Does that mean we won’t be tempted? No. But God always makes sure there’s a way of escape.
Does that mean life won’t be hard or bad things won’t happen to you? No. But God will always comfort you and guide you through them.
Does that mean Satan won’t continually hurl his fiery darts at you? No. But God will shield you.
Does that mean you have to live a perfect life and never see in order to avoid Hell’s fires with Satan? No. God is merciful and has long as you obey Him and keep trying He will protect your soul from Satan.
So, why do we worship God? Because He is our shield and protector.
