Today is the Lord’s Day.
Why do we worship Jehovah?
Because only He can pull our souls out from the pit. Only He can save us from destruction. Only He will keep our souls from calamity.
There will be lots of people tell you there are lots of different pathways to salvation and soul security. But they are wrong. There is only Jehovah. He is the Lord of lords. The merciful and gracious. The God who is slow to anger and abounding in steadfast love and faithfulness. The keeper of His steadfast love for thousands. The forgiver of iniquity, transgression, and sin. The just. The visitor of the sins on the guilty. The maker of the universe. The creator of your spirit. The Redeemer of your soul.
Only those who fear and worship Him ALWAYS will He save. Those who harden their heart against Him – they will fall to calamity.
So, do you fear and worship God always? Or just some of the time – when He fits into your schedule? When you like the things His says? When His commandments aren’t too burdensome? If that’s your approach to God, you have hardened your heart against Him just like those who have never given their heart to Him. And those who turn their heart from God will fall into destruction.
Turn your heart to God. Worship and fear Him always. He will save your soul from the pit. Don’t let Satan lie to you and drag your soul down to perdition. But, the choice about your fate is ultimately yours. No one will make it for you. And the consequence of your choice is eternal. So, choose but choose my wisely.
