Today is the Lord’s Day.
Those who fear and respect the will have life and are guaranteed rest that is satisfying and promised that we will not be visited by harm.
Now, our lives here on earth may not be abundant according to the world’s standards. But our rest on this earth should always be satisfying because we know no matter what happens God is taking care of us. And while we may experience harm here on earth we are promised that God will never visit His harm – His punishment on us at the end of all things.
Why do we fear and worship God?
✅ He promises us life – life forever with Him.
✅ He gives us a satisfying rest – in this life and the next.
✅ He guarantees us that He will not visit His harm on us. His punishment is reserved for the wicked.
